Watercolour Birds on Stuff

I decided to have a little break from the acrylic paint and fire imagery. I dusted off my watercolour paints and searched around for birds. In particular, a specific type of little bird with a slightly rude name in English. This bird would be the tit. Those described as tits are not all in the same genus, and I’m not sure how the designation of “tit” has been handed out. This little group of seven birds could be "nice tits", “best tits”, or maybe even "favourite tits", though I am aware that Great and Blue Tits can be real pushy bastards (I’m not familiar with the others’ general personalities).

I painted each bird individually, scanned the paintings, and arranged them with text in an illustration program. The birds featured are: the Great Tit, Blue Tit, Crested Tit, Long-Tailed Tit, Bearded Tit, Azure Tit, and Coal Tit. I’ve included the English and Latin names with the illustrations.

Through Printful, these birds are available on digitally printed (on-demand) glossy mugs and unisex cotton t-shirts. Link to my online store here.
